Some
quacks are promoted with superlatives like "the world's foremost
nutritionist" or "America's leading hair loss expert."
Their products may also be promoted with similar claims like "the
number one natural solution for hair loss". There are no laws
against making such claims, anyone can do it. If I claim to be the
world's greatest hair biologist, my professional colleagues would
not be very pleased, but there is nothing they could do about it.
Some scam artists may claim to have degrees and/or affiliations
to schools, hospitals, and/or professional that do not exist. The
individuals might claim to have acquired a medical degree, specialty
training, board certification, or other professional affiliations
from bogus or nonexistent sources. be aware that what people claim
for themselves is not always true.
